a unique name identifying the website. Each domain name consists of one highest and sometimes one or more lower level markers (eg .com.pl domain). Top-Level-Domains (tlds) are generic or geographic domains. Examples of top-level domains are .com (commercial), .edu (educational), or .org (organizational, public or non-commercial), etc. Geographic domains indicate countries of origin such as .pl (Poland), .us (United States ), .fr (France), .uk (UK), .de (Germany), etc.
